Launched by snowboarding legend Shaun White, The Snow League just locked in $15 million in funding to take things to the next level.

Left Lane Capital led the round, with support from big players like Will Ventures, Ares Management Corporation, David Blitzer's BOLT Ventures, Ryan Sports Ventures, and Kevin Durant & Rich Kleiman's Boardroom Sports Holdings. Other backers include Peter Hirschmann (League One Volleyball (LOVB)) and Kuvare Holdings.

As the first pro league all about snowboarding and freeskiing, The Snow League will bring the best athletes in the world to iconic resorts for head-to-head halfpipe showdowns. The action—featuring both men’s and women’s competitions—will air on NBC Sports and Peacock. Its debut season kicks off March 7-8 in Aspen with 36 athletes from nine countries.
