Just like life, freelancing is not linear.

Having been freelancing for 5+ years now, you can take it from me that it's no less than running a business.

As a one man/woman army, you need to wear multiple hats and 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐬 you just can't be careless about when it comes to solopreneurship.

Afterall, you own a small business and if you don't understand concepts like cash flow, taxes, budgeting how do you expect to make informed money decisions that will keep the lights of your business “on“.

To be honest, it took me a couple of significant losses to understand that earning good bucks is all fine but learning how to manage, spend and invest is equally important (if not more).

🚫You don't have to go down the same path.

✅Start investing in yourself.

✅Empower yourself and financial education is one of the best ways to do that.

Initially it might feel a bit tricky. You may feel lost and hazy as well. Shortlisting credible resources to boost financial literacy is no picnic. But gradually you will find what you are looking for.

Personally, I love investing my time in CA Rachana Ranade and Ankur Warikoo's You tube channels about personal finance.
Snackable, easy to digest and actionable content worth chewing on.

As said by Idowu Koyenikan:
