🇪🇺🇫🇷Last night for the first time in history, the Eiffel Tower in Paris was lit with hydrogen!

Renewable hydrogen was used to light up the Eiffel Tower for a laser show during the “Paris de l’hydrogène” event organised by Energy Observer, where ENGIE is one of the four main partners.

The hydrogen is also used to power the exhibition village. Originally the first autonomous, zero-emission hydrogen vessel, Energy Observer now combines expeditions and climate-oriented technical innovations. The exhibition features hydrogen as a cornerstone of the energy transition and as a means to succeed in building a low-carbon society.

France has committed investments of € 7 billion by 2030, including € 2 billion from #FranceRelance to accelerate the development of the hydrogen sector.
