☀️ Most of the greatest leaders on this platform...are WOMEN.

And I am not surprised.

Do you know why?

Because most strong women experience resistance....and they charge through it with perseverance and passion.

I have seen female leaders tolerate stereotypes, “gender norms”, cultural expectations and societal pressures and come out on top with grace.

Due in part to the amazing leadership qualities that most posses, including:

1️⃣ Empathy

2️⃣ Humility

3️⃣ Strength

4️⃣ Adaptability

5️⃣ and Resilience

I have been raised by strong women, I’m married to a strong woman and some of my mentors are inspiring female leaders.

As I’ve said before, I am only a strong man because I’ve been impacted by strong women.

And along the way I’ve learned:

🛑 480 MILLION ANIMALS HAVE DIED!!

Including 1/3 of the Koala population 🐨


The Australian bushfires have now devastated 5 million hectares.

To put things into perspective the Californian fires affected 1.8 million hectares.

So far....

🔸 23 people have lost their lives.
🔸 1200 homes have been destroyed leaving many homeless.
🔸 And 480 million animals have died including 1/3 of the Koala population.

How can you help?

Donate to organisations and volunteer services aiding in the firefighting and recovery efforts for affected communities and wildlife.

☀️ MY FATHER gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person....

He believed in me.

My father has always been a man of few words.

An intellectual, a thinker, that did not believe in small talk.

Tough love with a tough exterior.

But a heart full of so much unconditional love and kindness that I never questioned how he felt about me.

When a man of few words speaks....their words echo to your very soul.

And this moment in the photo below, was just that.

He embraced me, looked me in my eyes and uttered 7 words that I will carry forever.

7 words that were the culmination of all the lessons, dedication, sacrifice and values that he instilled in me.

With a solid embrace, he looked me in the eyes and said....”I’m so proud of you my son.”

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads, step dads and father figures for being the true heroes.

Why?


Because it serves as a reminder for all those watching AND it’s also a reminder for myself.

I know what it feels like when you are not being kind to yourself.

When you allow negative thoughts about yourself to consume you.

When you allow self doubt to take over.

When you question your worth, your skills and the value you add to others.

I also know what it feels like to unapologetically embrace all that you are with complete confidence and to speak your truth.
