Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Transport and Logistics plans to test flying taxis and drones during the upcoming Hajj season to improve transportation for pilgrims.

The country aims to stay ahead in the race for advanced transportation technologies and services to benefit from faster and more flexible means of travel.

Saudi Arabian Airlines also intends to operate flying taxis to transport Hajj pilgrims between Jeddah and Makkah, with plans to acquire around 100 aircraft for this purpose.
