Here’s a list of awful policies that really annoy me:

👉 Listing a role as ‘entry level’ but also requiring years of experience to justify a low-ball salary.
👉 Shouting about Neurodiversity on social media but offering no real accommodations.
👉 Refusal to hire someone because they’ve had a ‘career break’.
👉 Companies not disclosing the salary range in a job advert.
👉 Asking someone for a ‘quick chat’ without any context.
👉 Thinking a table-tennis table and an office bar is a perk.
👉 Long meetings that could have been an e-mail.
👉 Refusal to understand invisible disabilities.
👉 Companies removing their WFH policy.
👉 Ghosting candidates.
👉 Nob'ish behaviour.

What have I missed?
What e-mails mean to an ADHD employee:

'K' = I'm gonna get fired
'👍' = I'm gonna get fired
'I need to talk to you later' = I'm gonna get fired
[an email without any emojis] = I'm gonna get fired
'Call me' = The office is on fire and I'm gonna get fired
'You're not gonna get fired.' = The full stop makes me think I'm gonna get fired.
‘Everyone has ADHD these days’ 😤

What a night! 🥳

The National Diversity Awards was so much fun!

It’s a massive honour to be recognised for the work I do on ADHD.

Thank you!!!

None of us are broken, just different. We are ALL enough! 🥳💚

It's my birthday today! 🥳

I'm 36 years old. Here's what I FINALLY know about myself:

👉 I have ADHD, and that means I'm not broken, I'm different!
👉 I wasn't lazy, I was overwhelmed!
👉 I have always been enough!

Thank you everyone for supporting my ADHD journey, my podcast and for generally being epic human beings! 💚

Here's to the next chaotic trip around the sun! 🤪

I made £12,000 this week. Here’s how I did it:

I worked really, really hard for 15 years. I now command high speaking fees on that topic.

Don’t let someone on LinkedIn (who uses engagement pods, still lives at home with their parents and charges £500/hr for a consultation call only to tell you that the secret to success is to ‘just write’, convince you there’s a shortcut.

So many grifters on LinkedIn!

Benefits of ADHD in the workplace. (Part 2)
When you have to read your Monday morning emails but you also have to squeeze in your morning sea swim and chai latte.

Because some influencer said you’re not a real hustler if you don’t jump in that ice cold sea every morning.

Remember: hustle culture is a race to the bottom. It’s a race to burnout.

It’s OK to slow down.

It’s OK to listen to your body and your mind and conduct yourself at a healthy pace. You’ve got this.

How to accommodate neurodiversity at work:
Shout out to all the late diagnosed ADHD women and girls.

Everything in your past makes sense.

You were always enough 💚
