I am sad that I am writing this post (I had thought that the dark days of the last recession were well behind us), but I am reading more posts than ever from people who are running out of unemployment benefits, having a challenging time job searching, and are in difficult circumstances.
Just in case it's helpful, you can consolidate your resources and use Google's free tools for all your job searching activities (email, resumes and cover letters, interview prep, phone). And if you need computer access, check with your public library. Many offer free Chromebooks you can borrow or free computer time.
