This year we are giving our staff 47 days off, paid.

Well, not just this year - we've done it since 2010.

This is broken down into
😊 - 28 days paid
👑 - 9 Bank Holidays
🎅 - 10 days off over xmas

I understand how difficult life can be.

I am *trying* to create a stress-free environment at work for everyone.

I have high expectations. I have high standards. But if people are stressed, tired or not motivated, these standards aren't met 😢

So that's why MadeByShape give more holidays to rest and recover than the usual.

There are also some rules in place so that we can project manage

👉 Holidays need to be booked 4 weeks in advance
👉 No more than 2 Developers can be on holiday at the same time
👉 2 people cannot be off at the same time for more than 3 days together

We also allow staff to get their haircut, visit the dentist, doctors checkup etc etc whenever they want. No need to book a holiday day, just go do your thing and come back to work. Make sure all work is done though, and it's organised.

We offer this in our contract. Staff don't need to feel guilty for using hoildays.
