3 weeks ago, I shared on LinkedIn that my internship had been canceled due to #Covid19. I was initially hesitant to post on LinkedIn because I believed it would be lost in the sea. However, I was overwhelmed by the amount of support and resources I received from both other students and professionals.
It definitely wasn’t easy re-recruiting so close to the start of summer, especially with most companies either canceling their programs or freezing hiring. But after 150 applications, 24 interviews, and 4 offers, I’m excited to share that I have accepted an offer with Cisco as a Business Analyst intern for this summer!
Thanks to everyone who messaged, shared resources, and provided guidance and advice these past few weeks, and a special shoutout to Mitch McCaffrey and Megan Withers at Cisco for making me feel welcome during the interview process.
For anyone who is in a similar situation as me, I’ve learned a lot this past month, so feel free to message me and I can send you all the resources I’ve found helpful during this recruiting cycle.
