I used to spend 2 hours creating one carousel.
I built a tool in 3 hours that now does a carousel in 3 minutes. No code. And you can do it too.
Now we can build all the tools we need without coding.
I decided to start with building the one I needed โ a tool to turn YouTube videos into carousels.
YouTube is full of carousel ideas,
but turning one video into slides took five tools and two hours:
1. Pick a YouTube video I liked
2. Copy it into ChatGPT to analyze
3. Use Claude to challenge the analysis
4. Organize everything in Notion
5. Design slides in Canva
5 apps. 5 steps. 2h per carousel.
So I built my own content tool with Replit.
It turns any youtube video link into a carousel.
Turns out, the hardest part wasnโt Replit. It was its prompt.
At first I failed.
Replit couldnโt do what I wanted.
My prompt was off โ and I lost hours fixing it.
๐ฆ๐ผ ๐ ๐๐๐ถ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต:
1. I asked ChatGPT to ask me all the right questions before writing the prompt
2. It helped me clarify what I really wanted the tool to do
3. Then it wrote the full Replit prompt for me
Now my tool does it all:
โ I paste a YouTube link
โ It grabs the transcript
โ It extracts key ideas and quotes with AI
โ It creates 8โ12 slides with titles and text
โ It exports as a CSV or JSON
Then I just upload the CSV into Canva with my brand template.

And hereโs the real shift:
This isnโt about carousels or videos.

Examples of tools you can build:
โ Turn Reddit threads into LinkedIn carousels
โ Monitor competitor pricing automatically
โ Generate post variations for multiple platforms
โ Draft your weekly newsletter from AI reports
Replit isnโt perfect.
Itโs messy and slow sometimes.
But it proves the concept: if you describe it clearly, AI builds it for you.
No need to wait for the perfect app.
You can build your own now.
PS: Want the full workflow and exact prompt I used?
Comment โTOOLโ and Iโll send you everything.
