“I felt so worthless.“
- my 67-year-old client

This is someone who has worked for some world-class brands (i.e. Big 3 automaker and Fortune 50 oil/gas company).

He found himself out of work a few years ago and it took him 18 months to land.

We should be celebrating that he started working in 1976, but instead it feels like something to hide (partly because he was straight-up on his resume last time and it didn't serve him).

If you talked with him, you'd hear how much energy he has and how excited he is to work for you.

Let's readjust our biases and assumptions.

Many people plan to work into their 60s and 70s.

Are you interviewing people older than 60?

How about candidates over 50?

If not, why?
