Representation matters! Why? Because as Lori Richardson reminds us, “We can't be what we can't see.“

When I took the stage at Outbound 2022 last month, I could only think of the girls and young women who look like me.

Young women who have never seen a Black female sales leader.

Young girls whose only exposure to Black women is what they see in music videos and TV.

I know my representation matters because it helps builds self-esteem and provides validation and support for young women and girls who look like me.

So..cheers to this HERstory makers.

👏🏽 Women challenging the status quo.

👏🏽 Women calling BS on stereotypes.

👏🏽 Women who refuse to sit idly by and act when they see injustices.

👏🏽 Women who know they're put on this earth to accomplish awe-inspiring things.

👏🏽 Women who believe in something bigger than themselves.

👏🏽 Women who look in the mirror and ask, “Why not me?“

👏🏽 Women just like YOU!
