🧠 LinkedIn asked: "How have you leaned into your network to navigate the immense change brought on by AI, and manage rising expectations?"
Here’s how I answered -> not just in a post, but in a keynote.
🎤 I was recently invited to speak at the AI Innovation Summit.
The topic I chose:
“From AI to AgI: Seeding Sales Longevity.”
But I didn’t write this talk in a vacuum.
I listened first.
I went to the people living this change — my network.
✅ Sales reps facing tool fatigue
✅ Managers overwhelmed by dashboards
✅ Enablement leaders wondering how to keep humans at the center
I didn’t ask, “What do you think of AI?”
I asked, “How is it actually impacting you?”
🔍 What I heard was this:
- AI is solving surface problems, but creating deeper ones
- It’s eroding human connection while increasing pressure
- Sellers feel like they're being turned into machines
And most critically:
“If AI is doing the work... where does that leave me?”
That’s when the core insight landed:
We’re talking too much about AI as a system,
and not enough about the human inside it.
🔁 That’s where AgI comes in:
Augmented Intelligence. Not just tools to do more, but a mindset to be more.
And yes, it’s deliberate:
🧪 Ag + I = Silver Iodide, the compound used to seed clouds and create rain.
AgI doesn’t sell for you.
It helps you show up better. With more clarity, judgment, and presence.
🔄 What started as a network conversation became:
- A reframe on automation vs. amplification
- A lens on sales identity, not just role
- A path forward for those navigating AI from the inside out
So to answer LinkedIn’s question:
This keynote wasn’t my opinion.
It was a reflection of what I learned by asking the right people the right questions.
