Not everyone is a doer!
Ideas don’t make you special.
Execution does.
Most ideas die because the first step never happens.
High-achievers don’t wait for the “perfect moment.”
They grab a good enough idea and run with it full force.
Thanks to Chris Donnelly for the infographic that inspired these steps.
Here’s how to actually make your ideas happen:
1️⃣ Strip It Down
→ Boil it to the bare essentials
→ Launch the smallest version possible, a sign-up page, a prototype, anything
2️⃣ Give Yourself a Hard Deadline
→ Parkinson’s Law: work expands to fill the time you give it
→ Less time means faster clarity
3️⃣ Test Early
→ Show it to a few real users
→ Listen closely, what sticks, what fails
4️⃣ Watch the Signals
→ Patterns in feedback tell you what is worth pursuing
→ Pivot or double down
5️⃣ Launch and Improve
→ Done is better than perfect
→ Keep iterating based on real-world use
Ideas will keep coming.
But it is the ones you act on that actually matter.
