My dad passed away 26 years ago today.
I wish Ellis had the chance to meet him.
I hope I can honor my dad by being half as good of a dad to Ellis as he was to me.

My advice to anyone thinking of becoming a parent: seek out companies where the leadership understands and respects how important family is.
When I joined Gig Wage, there were only 5 people at the company. I started in Nov and asked for two months parental leave knowing Iâd be taking off after only 2.5 mo at the company. For a company our size, two months paid leave is an extraordinary amount of time. But when I asked for it, our CEO didnât flinch. He knew how important it was for me and my wife and my family. I feel super grateful to work with folks who donât just care about their employees but also their employeesâ families. Feeling very supported right now â¤ď¸
