You know what I love about this quote?

It’s painfully true in the way spinach is healthy.

Nobody reads advertising.
People only read what interests them.
And honestly, can you blame them?
Most ads feel like they were written by someone who lost a bet.

But here’s the fun part.
Sometimes what interests them just happens to be an ad.
And when that happens, magic shows up.
People click.
People care.
People actually buy stuff.
Wild, right?

As a CMO, I see this every day.
SMEs keep asking how to make people read their ads.
But that’s the wrong question.
The real question is this.
How do we make the ad worth reading?

Make it entertaining.
Make it relatable.
Make it human enough for someone to say hey that’s me.

Because people don’t hate ads.
They hate boring ads.
And boring is optional.

Great ads don’t interrupt.
They invite.
They spark curiosity.
They make people smile.
Or think.
Or feel something other than please stop.

So if you want your marketing to work.
Stop trying to be louder.
Start trying to be interesting.
That’s what wins.
Every time.

Now your turn.
What’s the most interesting ad you’ve ever seen?
