Having grown up watching Jeopardy almost every night as a kid, it was incredibly meaningful to have Alex Trebek and his wife Jean express their interest in supporting The Compassion Project (thecompassionproject.com), the non-profit I co-founded with EVERFI to ensure compassion is taught in every elementary school in the U.S. On one of Alex's final evenings in the studio last week, he recorded this video for us, and Jean loved the fact that his final professional words would give voice to teaching children to be compassionate and empathetic towards one another. Thank you, Alex, for leaving all of us such a wonderful legacy, both inside and outside the studio.

Appreciate the work orgs like Johns Hopkins are doing to help share real-time Covid-19 contagion data by geography, e.g.,https://lnkd.in/dpsfx4x. Is anyone aware of a source that organizes the data by geo as follows: cases (based on known test results), cases per capita, fatalities, fatality rate, adjusted cases (using fatality rate in geos that have collected reliable and mature data at scale vs. known test results), day-over-day growth in adjusted cases. It's that last data point that will be highly valuable in terms of helping people understand the extent to which the curves are starting to flatten vs. reporting increases in the absolute number of global cases (which in many cases are being materially underreported due to lack of testing). If this doesn't already exist, perhaps the data scientist community on LinkedIn can help pull something like this together using verified sources for the primary data.
