đŠÂ When âNormalâ at work is actually NOT Normal
Itâs easy to get so caught up in work that we donât even question the things we accept as ânormal.â
But we need to remind ourselves: just because something is common doesnât mean itâs okay!
We convince ourselves that:
â Exhaustion is a sign of productivity.
â Being constantly available means weâre doing a good job.
â Feeling guilty for setting boundaries is just part of the job.
But in reality, a healthy work environment doesnât require you to sacrifice your well-being just to keep up.
A good job:
⨠Values your time
⨠Respects your boundaries
⨠Allows you to do your work without unnecessary stress
If youâve been feeling drained but canât quite figure out why, take a step back.
Look at the bigger picture.
Are you working in a way that benefits you?
Or just surviving in a system that takes more than it gives?
Now letâs chat:
Whatâs something you used to think was normal at work until you realized it wasnât?
Let me know in the commentsđ
