🚩 When ‘Normal’ at work is actually NOT Normal

It’s easy to get so caught up in work that we don’t even question the things we accept as “normal.”

But we need to remind ourselves: just because something is common doesn’t mean it’s okay!

We convince ourselves that:

➞ Exhaustion is a sign of productivity.
➞ Being constantly available means we’re doing a good job.
➞ Feeling guilty for setting boundaries is just part of the job.

But in reality, a healthy work environment doesn’t require you to sacrifice your well-being just to keep up.

A good job:

✨ Values your time
✨ Respects your boundaries
✨ Allows you to do your work without unnecessary stress

If you’ve been feeling drained but can’t quite figure out why, take a step back.

Look at the bigger picture.

Are you working in a way that benefits you?

Or just surviving in a system that takes more than it gives?

Now let’s chat:

What’s something you used to think was normal at work until you realized it wasn’t?
