We’re so proud of our boy 🥹

Last night, Josh made the brave & adult decision to put himself first….. & we couldn’t be bloody prouder 💜

At 6yrs old Chelsea, Southampton, Portsmouth, & Brighton football clubs saw something in him…. & so began our academy football life.

Josh signed to AFC Bournemouth at 8yrs old & it’s been our life ever since 🍒⚽️

He’s struggled a bit over recent years with his confidence in his ability & with AFCB having gone to a Cat 2 club recently and more so this year, with the pressures of a scholarship looming where he turns 16 - to say the pressure went up is an understatement.

He hadn’t been himself in recent weeks & so he made the decision last night to remove himself from the Academy for which we support his decision 💯%

He went to his last training session last night - shook the coaches hands and said thank you 🤝

He said goodbye to his team mates who he’s grown up with over the years, which we know was emotional for him 🥺

Thank you to all of the AFC Bournemouth staff, physios & coaches for everything you’ve done for Josh 🙏🏼🍒

He’s leaving with some amazing life skills 👏🏼

We’re so excited for him & what’s next.

Is there a plan? Nope.

Having been inside such a high pressured environment since he was so young…..it may just be going back to grassroots football with his friends is what he needs to find the love for it again with no pressures ⚽️

We’re behind him 💯% and forever proud.

When one door closes….another one opens 🚪

It’s not the end Joshy, it’s just the beginning x
