World is hard for ambitious people who don’t keep growing their skills.

Ambitions are achieved with skills, not wishes and dreams.

Those who are ambitious but don’t focus on deliberate upskilling, are in constant state of anxiety.

How does it work:

Tag a person who’s helped you the most in 2020 along with a short story on how they’ve helped you.

CRED team will pick the best story and pay their entire credit card bill. Winner will be picked on 25th Jan. T&C apply.

You’ll make wealth when you spend time with those who hate wasting time. \n\nYou’ll find peace when you spend time with those who don’t care about time.
Work is a sport.

You’re an athlete.

There are better athletes out there.

You don’t know their game unless you probe deliberately.

You won’t know your gaps if you don’t know or see their game.

You won’t break your records if you don’t know your gaps.
CRED has news. Over the last 9 months, our members have helped us shape CRED from a digital product to a community. The love and support shown to us while we scaled has been nothing short of humbling, and for this we are grateful 🙏

We have raised new round of $120 MN from our investor partners. We believe that funding is not a milestone but the fuel to carry us into our next phase of growth. We wish to make credit cards more accessible, feature rich and deliver more value to our members.

Our true success will lie in improvement in quality of life and financial progress of our community. Excited for the roadmap ahead and hope to keep doing better than before. For now, it’s back to work.

Skills don’t pass genetically.

With accelerated rate of change in the world today, anyone can become useless in a decade if they don’t upskill constantly.

While we learn a lot at school and work, we haven’t been trained how to learn quickly and effectively and that should change.
Don’t waste a storm.

Over the past 2 years, it has become a tradition at CRED to host sessions where we have the best minds from across the world share with us all that they have experienced to learn from their mistakes, their insights and their genius.
And while it has been a CRED tradition, we have decided to open up these sessions to all of you.
I am really excited to have over Brian Norgard, ex-CPO Tinder and investor extraordinaire for the first session of CRED Curious.
One of the clearest thinkers I have met, Brian has an interest in product, investing, design and “weird people” (his words, not mine). I’m looking forward to this session and having you all join us. If you wish to attend this session, sign up on the following google form- https://lnkd.in/gbkj5kF and a meeting invite will be sent to you.

Life is a game of skill for people who aren’t born wealthy.

People who suck at this game, will always get attracted to games of hope and luck.

Games of luck/hope can range from lottery to religion to gambling to coaching classes to dating apps to sauna belt to astrology.
