As a parent, I’ve often received the advice that the days go slow, but the years go fast. I have made it a priority to spend individual time with each of my kids and develop memories between the two of us. As summer is coming to a close, my daughter, Samantha, and I were able to sneak away for a few days to the West Coast to enjoy the beach, amazing dinners, and much needed quality time together. I will always cherish our mother-daughter time and am incredibly grateful for how our relationship has grown – especially over the past few years.
