I hired my sister who has autism because nobody else would.

She STILL can't find other employment 😔
In 2021, Autistic people had the highest rates of unemployment out of all disabled groups.
Which is worrying when 1 in 100 people are on the spectrum.
Businesses NEED to help change this!!
They can start by asking questions like...
“Is our hiring process inclusive?“
“Do we tailor our communication style? “
“Have staff had neurodivergent training?“
My sister remains positive.
Despite all the challenges she faces.
Businesses are missing out on incredible talent due to not putting the right support in place.
Judge people on their skills.
NOT their disability 👏🏻
