Talent Acquisition is a part of the Human Resources function.

And just because someone specializes in a Talent Acquisition role, does not mean they would not be qualified for a more HR Generalist based role.

Often times, TA professionals display a variety of transferable skills AND have had a lot of exposure to critical areas within broader HR. When you deep dive in to the organizations they work for (especially smaller ones and even medium to large ones), you will find quite frequently, they wear many hats - beyond what you see in a job title.

As you work to fill HR roles, consider a TA professional and potential and skillset they will bring.

While they may not have held the same titles in the past, they have likely shown value that can be contributed to success in the broader HR function.
