I hated working with people who were mean, bitchy or bullies.

I just didn’t get why - what’s the point in making someone else’s life and job miserable?

Sadly, I also see it A LOT in HR - so many wonderful HR humans have had a horrible experience with fellow people people. 😭

It’s why The HR Geek Squad is so important to me - it’s the space I always wanted to be a part of: fun, safe, sharing and Geeky learns.

When I started it, I just wanted 20 people, and we’re now at 120!!

We’ve made great friendships, connections and learns - and our feral WhatsApp group is a thing to behold! 😂

It’s why the theme of The Great Geek Together is connection - because our magical little group has managed to create so much by just being present online, it’s genuinely EXCITING to think about how much fun it will be to see it IRL!

We’ve even got two pay it forward tickets available from the beautiful Geeks who have bought tickets to help someone else experience the magic - the genuine amazingness of this group makes my heart hurt!
