Imposter syndrome will kill your career.

Here's what nobody wants to tell you:

-> It never goes away

People try fight it:
↳ Hiding in their comfort zone
↳ Looking for external validation
↳ Pretending to know everything

🔴 It doesn't work.

🟢 Here's what to do instead:

1/ Reframe
↳ “I'm not qualified“ -> “I'm learning“

2/ Love discomfort
↳ Take on challenges that are feasible, but stretch you

3/ Seek feedback
↳ Actively looking for feedback builds your confidence

4/ Be open about not knowing things
↳ Say “I don't know“ to build your credibility

5/ Own your success criteria
↳ Don't live your life to someone else's standards

Confidence is a result of action.
Don't let the imposter syndrome stop you from starting.

Imposter syndrome will kill your career.

Brutal truth nobody tells you:

↳ Seek external validation

🔴 It doesn't work.

🟢 Take these simple 5 steps to improve today:

1/ Change the frame
↳ From “I'm not qualified“ to “I'm learning“

2/ Seek discomfort
↳ Take on challenges that stretch you (but are feasible)

3/ Stay open about what you don't know
↳ “I don't know“ builds your credibility

4/ Ask for feedback
↳ Confident people want feedback early & often

5/ Know what you really want
↳ Don't build your life to someone else's ideas

Confidence comes from previous action.

How I hacked my way into the top 1% at work.

(This 15-minute technique changed my life)

Give me 57 seconds.
I guarantee it will change the trajectory of your career.
Here's how I changed mine 👇

A decade ago, I used to be:
❌ timid and introverted
❌ frightened of public speaking

Today:
✅ I've given over 100 talks
✅ Visit places around the globe for free
✅ My career is on a completely different level
✅ paid to present to the Engineering of multi-$B companies

What changed?
👉 I learned how to be a better public speaker

How?
❌ I didn't pay some guru $$$
❌ I didn't change my personality (still introverted)
❌ I didn't spend a year meditating

No.
I looked up how to engineer the s*%t out of it.
How to Matt-Damon-in-The-Martian it.
It's free, and it's not rocket science.

👉 Here's how to do it in under 15 minutes:

1️⃣ Record yourself on your phone
↳ Pick a familiar subject
↳ Improvise a 5-minute speech
↳ Look into the camera, hands free

2️⃣ Review the audio (don't look)
↳ What do you like about it?
↳ Do you sound interested?
↳ Does the story make sense?

3️⃣ Review the visual (mute audio)
↳ What do you look like?
↳ Body language, facial expression?
↳ Would you click unmute if you saw it on your feed?

4️⃣ Review the transcript
↳ Notice the filler words ("like", "so", ...)
↳ Notice the non-words ("um", "ahh", ...)
↳ Notice unfinished sentences

Repeat this process once a day for a week.
Every time, try to improve one element.
Then compare day 1 to day 7.
You will be shocked.
Start now!

Do you feel nervous about public speaking?
