Don't take input from just anyone, focus on those who you trust and respect.

I had to learn this the hard way in my 20s; I would often seek advice from many different people in my network, not thinking about just how important it is to filter that advice.

As an entrepreneur, many people do not understand why you do what you do.ย I had many naysayers, friends, in my life who said I should quit, or join the corporate world.ย Luckily, I continued to follow my passion, and it has brought me the work and life I love today.ย 

Now I carefully craft my board of advisors, and who I regularly seek advice from.ย 

Remember: Don't take input from just anyone, focus on those who you trust and respect, and who are taking a similar parallel path to you.
