The #valuation of WhatsApp Inc. in 2014 when facebook acquired it was super high to many people but the benefit that was added to facebook was much higher by grabbing the #1 chat app into its #ecosystem.
The #Valuation of Whole Foods Market when acquired by amazon in 2017 was also high to some people but the tech multiple on brick and mortar #shopping made it doable.
The #Valuation of Beats Music by #Apple was also high but the integration of beats products in 2014 with apple made sense.
And the list goes on.
The #M_and_A world in #technology is very interesting and We will keep seeing numbers that we cannot understand of #acquisitions but when the buyers' valuations increase with more than the amount of the acquisition we start to understand what they say earlier.
I have a dream to be part of a company that gets #acquired or #acquires a tech company in that sizes.
Being a small part of the #egypt's tech ipo with Fawry was a dream and being a small part of the #middle_east's biggest exit to Uber was also a dream.
I hope I can reach my next dream one day!!
