Struggling with your cold calling intro?

I’ve coached and trained a lot of reps.

What I noticed with most reps was that cold calling was top of mind for them to get better at.

In order to get better at calling, your introduction has to be powerful.

Here’s the one thing we primarily focus on is how can we make sure you win the first five seconds of the call šŸ‘‡

The first five seconds are critical.

If you lose in the first five seconds, the rest of the call is going to be tough.

I am going back to the trenches.

Now, this might be a surprise to you.

I know it’s been a surprise to most people I’ve consulted with.

However, after some soul searching, float tanks, and listening to my heart…

I knew this was it.

This is the right move for me.

Another deep breath…

I am going to Sales Impact Academy as the VP of GTM Talent and Development.

Before going into detail about this role, let me explain something:

One of my main passions has always been to create the best content in the space and give you all an amazing experience while doing it.

But I couldn’t shake something while elevating that content.

I had been thinking about going back to building something and documenting my next journey.

So, what is your boy doing?

Well, part of my role will be building an SDR team — building a function that I am personally proud of and that hasn't been done before.

The role will also entail going into enablement to help all the sellers at SIA with their pipeline generation efforts.

Ultimately, my favorite part of all of this is taking the content I am creating to the NEXT level and being an evangelist for the SIA brand. (Mark P. Jung and I have a lot in store) ;)

The mission that SIA is on is to empower the revenue community with learning from the world's best revenue leaders LIVE.

Getting all their tips and tricks on how they scaled through hypergrowth.

Okay. More deep breathing.

This is an incredible opportunity that I wanted to be part of.

Plus, once they told me everyone who was joining it made me feel like we were building a super team of people that I always wanted to work with. So my first question, was WHY NOT? (Avengers, unite!)

In all seriousness, I couldn’t be more excited about joining this team and building something incredible.

For those of you who have supported me since day 1… for those just starting…

I truly appreciate your support as I take this next step in my journey.

Since this is my first time as a VP, I will be sharing my journey with you about the obstacles, thoughts, and accomplishments as I step into this role.

Cheers to the next step. Cheers to going back to my roots in some ways while planting deeper roots in all the ways.
