I spent the last week in Saint Lucia.
2025 was a good year in Healthcare which is the vertical I'm in as a Customer Success Manager at Vasion, I qualified for our Circle of Excellence trip.
An easy highlight of the week was getting to visit a local school and helping out. There was a variety of things we could help with: putting together picnic tables and painting them, painting fun activities for the kids on the concrete, painting a mural in one of their rooms, hanging ceiling fans, and helping teach the students or be a teacher's aide.
I chose to spend time as an aide with the Second Grade kiddos and they are bright students! I was impressed by how quickly they got through their workbook assignments. Spending several hours of our day with them brought a lot of joy to my heart and I was grateful for the opportunity to hang out with them. They said that a group our size (about 50!) had never come to their school before. They were sad to see us leave and I couldn't help but tear up knowing that it was a goodbye and not a "see ya later".
We stayed at the Royalton, Saint Lucia and felt like actual royalty. The staff was so kind and we had a great time on the beach and by the pool.
Hours of spikeball games where we started having spectators come out of their rooms to watch us play from their patio views.
Incredible sunsets and great company of co workers and their +1s.
Grateful to work at Vasion and guess what? We're frequently hiring- so go check out our careers page.
