We hosted Linkedin Local Ogbomoso, the Largest networking event in Ogbomoso on the 3rd of August, 2024.

I’ve learnt that the secret to success in any endeavor is doing the common things uncommonly well.

So much stretching and pain has to happen to do something you’re proud of. They say no pain no gain.

You need to be stretched beyond your comfort for your capacity to accommodate more. And this can be likened to an elastic, if it isn’t stretched, it might not be able to accommodate more beyond its original state.

I've learned the value of always just asking for something. The worst you hear is no, the best is you get what you want. Sounds like a win-win to me. Closed mouths don't get fed.

If you never ask, you'll never get anything you want. That's not a risk worth taking. Ask for things, specifically when you've done the work to deserve it.

Don’t waste your life feeling like you aren’t capable of doing something or that you’re not the chosen one. Quit that, go out and build. You don’t need permission to go after that thing you want to do.

The people who are considered ‘the great’ had an amount of self-delusion. If you don’t, nothing ambitious would ever be started. You have to believe that you have a chance of succeeding at something in the first place.

For this edition, we were particular about curating a list of people whose impact transcends time and have been in the space for a number of years, we also tried to make the attendees have a closer proximity and interaction with the speakers which was why we had more sessions for questions at the event.

The protest in Nigeria presented us with a lot of doubts but we forged ahead nevertheless. Thanks to Olusola Samuel Owonikoko, Tioluwanimi Obisesan, Ifeoluwa Shoola, PMP, @Victor Fatanmi for gracing the event.

And thanks to brands and people like Zikoro, Zido, Samuel Ajiboyede, Silvernig, Kehinde Durodola-Tunde, Victor Sosanya, Tunde Ajetomobi, Jesudamilare Adesegun-David, Kowe,Kehinde Durodola-Tunde, Kafayat Popoola, Ibilola Okunola, Hope Duntoye and to everyone that has contributed to the success of this event.

I have always longed for this day, when I'll be called a graduate.

It's been a very rough journey of cries, joy, and everything in between. I was almost a deserter, all thanks to God who causes us to triumph.

After close to 6 years, several ASUU strikes, periods of lack, and hunger in my early days in school, I finally bagged a Bachelor of Nursing Science.

I finally signed out of LAUTECH yesterday with RN, RPHN, and BNsc. I'm super glad to be exiting this phase of life.

Thank you, Dad and Mum. Thank you for this phase. Couldn't have been possible without you. Thank you, friends and family, for the support.

On to the next and yes, I'm a graduate!
