I SHUT DOWN MY 11 month OLD STARTUP !
Yes i shut down Pureely Fresh within a year,
People take it as failure & question me .
Hereās few facts before you judge me
1. We were doing close to 65 lakh a month revenue when we shut down operation.
2. We had a net margin of 4.5% to 8% from the start of the company.
3. We never had a negative P&L month.
4. We were on the path of touching 1 crore a month revenue within next 5-6 months.
Now Why i Shut down
1. We were growing so fast that our working capital dried up and with credit period of a month we couldnāt sustain operation.
2. Most importantly i didnāt feel i was doing something unique , i mean if i start today within a year i can still make that business again from scratch.
3. We werenāt a startup doing innovation , we were glorified commission agent.
Thatās why i took decision of closing down because, āTo reach where i meant to reach i had to leave this behind ā
People judging me , just imagine shutting down a business doing close to a million dollar revenue a year , 99% people canāt take that decision, i took it because i built that and if i want i can built it again.
