As the tragic war continues in Ukraine, PepsiCo is announcing the suspension of the sale of Pepsi-Cola, and our global beverage brands in Russia. We will also be suspending capital investments and all advertising and promotional activities in Russia.

My heart goes out to all those who are caught in the middle of this deadly conflict. As it so often does, war is falling hardest on the innocent. War is never an answer, and we join all those calling for a speedy, peaceful resolution.

I’m excited to welcome Jane Wakely as PepsiCo's Chief Consumer and Marketing Officer and Chief Growth Officer of International Foods. Jane will play a pivotal role in our pep+ #transformation and elevating our consumer centricity to a new level. Welcome!
I’m excited to celebrate the one-year anniversary of pep+. It’s been an incredible start to our transformation journey. We’ve advanced Positive Agriculture through spreading regenerative practices globally, supported a Positive Value Chain with our Net Water Positive strategy, and inspired Positive Choices by accelerating our reduction of added sugars and sodium across our portfolio. pepsi.co/3gYDhW8

Excited to be back in Davos to continue our quest to find new ways to leverage the scale of PepsiCo to help transform the global food system.

Thanks to Diane Holdorf, Enrique Lores, and Michel Doukeris for joining me at Goals House for an important conversation about partnering on the path to #NetZero. What a great way to start the week.

Today we commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. PepsiCo shares his devotion for collective action to build a more open, equal, and united society; where everyone regardless of what we look like, where we come from, or who we love has a voice. By raising our bar on talent and diversity, we tap into new ideas, develop exciting innovation and create more smiles for our consumers, customers and the communities we serve.

I am proud of our progress and efforts to strengthen and empower Black communities, but I know there is still more we can accomplish. The journey may be long, but as Dr. King reminds us: “…[we must] rise above the narrow confines of our own individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.“

With our scale and reach comes responsibility; we each have the opportunity to use the guidance of Dr. King's legacy as our beacon, moving as one toward a goal to effect real, transformative, and positive change.

I’m always excited about our new, culinary experiences at PepsiCo, which is why I’m thrilled about the Lay’s Maxx Crunch collaboration with KFC in the Middle East and North Africa.

KFC’s chicken is hand-breaded with a special mix of Lay’s Maxx potato chips for a memorable, crunchy bite only our iconic brands could deliver.

It’s great to see our 25 year partnership with KFC in the Middle East continue to thrive through craveable & distinctive innovation.

Last week, I had the privilege of visiting a PepsiCo cookie facility in Guanajuato, #Mexico where I met so many passionate associates helping our second largest market continue to become Faster, Stronger, and Better. By investing in inclusive opportunities across the country from #manufacturing to recycling, by digitalization and transforming via technology, we are enabling future #success for our company, consumers, customers, and the communities we serve.

This also means investing directly in our associates, giving them greater opportunities to learn and, in turn, pass their knowledge onto the next generation. No one demonstrates this better than Don Pichardo, a Master Baker who has been with us for 53 years and embraces the latest technologies to make our cookies even better, whilst never losing sight of the tradition and craftsmanship that our consumers know and love in each batch.

¡Gracias, Don Pichardo! Your dedication to the heritage of our cookies is so inspiring, and we are so grateful to have you with us year after year. Every time you enjoy a Marias Gamesa...Don Pichardo has done his magic!

It was so much fun speaking to the Frito-Lay team in Las Vegas recently. Thanks to your hard work, Frito-Lay is the gold standard of our industry. That’s why we’re putting new technologies in the hands of our people on the front line and investing resources toward strengthening our business. By Winning with Purpose, I believe Frito-Lay can go from a great company to the best snacks company in the world!
