I hit 20K followers after almost 3 years of posting. Grateful for the number. More grateful for the people I've now met in real life.
My first post here was about how AI could reduce climate change. (Lol, I know.)
I never deleted it.
Every post is a data point.
It shows you how far you've come.
So consider this my quick reintroduction post. I'm 33 now and I once thought I was too late to even start.
Here is my story:
→ I grew up without my father. He was killed in the war in the 90s, like so many Bosnians. My mother raised me, my sister and my brother alone. She's my idol.
→ As a kid I wanted to be a footballer. At 16 I quit. My coach benched me for a boy whose father was watching. I told myself I'd never play football again.
→ That day one stranger taught me the best lesson ever: winners never rely or on others. You give 1000% of what's in your own power.
→ I've been a salesperson since I was a kid. I sold trading cards in elementary school. In high school I charged my lazy classmates to do their architecture drafts. I still use those lessons today.
→ After university I was a call center agent, archery instructor, tourist guide, glovo courier, and more. Every "less valuable" job taught me something I still carry.
→ I started posting here because 3 jobs rejected me for my English. So I thought, let me practice. (Still terrible, I know.)
→ My LinkedIn spark was Jasmin Alic. He's our Edin Dzeko of LinkedIn.
→ My first clients came after 6 months here. I built their first GPT systems.
→ Today I build the AI workflows that run your daily work, so the business stops depending on you being in everything.
→ I've done it with 50+ small businesses and non-technical operators in 3 years.
→ I've never worked at a tech company or a startup. And I really want to.
→ I love rap and electronic music for motivation. Funky and house to switch off.
→ I never post screenshots of what I earn. I wasn't raised that way. (Would you trust me more if I did?)
Here's my actual WHY.
→ Freedom, for me, was never the money. It's lifting the people I came from. My mother. My sister. My girlfriend. Anyone who started with nothing, like I did.
→ So I build the system I never had and hand it to people like me so they stop being buried and alone. That's what keeps me going.
→ One last thing. My old Bosnian traditional Muslim's name is Sabahudin. Sabah means morning, Din means faith. The morning of faith. I like that more every year.
