In January, I had the opportunity to travel to Tempe, Arizona to lead a session on personal branding on LinkedIn for a group of 50 Chase Auto executives.
It was my first time on stage for a full hour solo, which felt like a big step for me. Iām really grateful to the team who trusted me with the space and to everyone who showed up so engaged and open to the conversation.
It also reinforced something I see every day in my work.
The people doing the most impressive work are often the least visible. Not because they lack expertise, but because they have not been shown how to translate it into a clear, credible voice.
Personal branding is not about posting more. It is about positioning with intention. What you say, how you say it, and whether people understand the value you bring.
Months later, I am still hearing feedback from that session, which means a lot. It is a reminder that showing up and sharing what you know can have more impact than you think.
Not bad for the after lunch slot. :)
