So many British entrepreneurs are leaving the UK…
The numbers are insane:
Last year, the UK lost 10,800 millionaires.
And it’s not just for tax reasons or red-tape… it’s the entire British attitude towards success.
When my business started making good money… A friend I'd known for eight years literally went out of his way to message me saying we couldn't be friends anymore.
I asked him why and he said we had “nothing in common” because I'd become successful.
And so you have American founders that are celebrated, but UK entrepreneurs are constantly attacked.
Because we've created a system that punishes success:
- Super high taxes that crush growth
- Bureaucracy and regulations that strangle any innovative ideas
- A culture that sees wealth as something to apologize for
And the result is our best talent is leaving for the US or Dubai.
I honestly think London might be the world's greatest city… but we're losing our entrepreneurs because we've created a system that celebrates putting ourselves down.
