The theme park and attractions business is pretty incredible. We at Merlin Entertainments, 30,000 strong, wake up every morning thinking about how to bring more connection, belonging and memory making to our 50+ million guests across over 140 attractions in the 25 countries in all four corners of the globe. Could there be any busines with a stronger purpose that is this much fun?

Belonging seems to be the big buzzword these days and I believe for good reason. During Covid-19 we longed for connection, people, experiences, community…well, we longed for belonging.

But, belonging has to be aspirational for everybody, right? Did you know that 1 in 44 children in the US been diagnosed with autism? Our theme parks and hotels are full of movement, action, color, sound, music and energy…and we aspire to have LEGOLAND Resorts be places of belonging. We have taken steps to make sure that when you visit one of our LegoLand Parks, that we have the necessary training, quiet spaces and done the work on behalf of children on the spectrum and their families so that everyone can have safe and fun experiences.
