List writing etiquette:
1. Any to-do list must be written by hand (except for this list of course).
2. If you complete a task that wasn’t on your original list, it’s perfectly acceptable that you add it to your list afterwards, just to feel the joy of crossing it off.
3. It’s ok to write to-do lists for your friends and family and leave it on their kitchen bench or under their windscreen wiper (even if it feels a bit passive aggressive). Remember, a list is a gift.
4. It’s also ok to sign off the friends and family to-do list with someone else’s name so they don’t know it was you who wrote it.
5. It’s v unlikely you’ll ever get through your list but it’s normal to start each day thinking you will.
6. The thing about lists is they never end. They just keep growing. Except for this list. This is the end of the list writing etiquette (unless of course you have things you’d like to add).
