Imposters everywhere.
Came across a profile (Bain employee, MBA from Harvard, Entrepreneur) - was inspired by the plethora of experiences and wanted to chat with him.
Discovered a great scam as I could not find him on internal databases.
I messaged him “Which office are you from?“
No response but he removes the experience altogether.
Unfortunately, he has over 30K+ LinkedIn followers and various aspirants believing in him and paying him to leverage from his experiences.
Not sure if LinkedIn can manage to get experiences verified from the employer - but sooner or later, some verification will be required.
Meanwhile, beware of the imposters/ scammers - they are everywhere.
