2020, we were working out of a small 550 sq ft room, 2 years ago we shifted to a 14,000 sq ft factory
When we started in that small space we stored ingredients, packed orders, and figured things out as we went.
However, Cosmix was still new. At the time, we were only selling 10 units a day.
Most third-party manufacturers wanted a commitment of 10,000 units upfront and handing over our formulation which was a massive risk.
And that wasn’t something we were ready to do.
We realized we needed a space that met our standards. Because we wanted to make clean supplements, with no shortcuts, and no compromises.
And the only real way to do this was to build our own end-to-end processes. Gradually, we learned every level demands different processes - like how many people we need, or the regulations with the government body.
Today, that factory is dedicatedly designed to meet ISO and HACCP guidelines. We built for scale, for safety, and for the kind of products we always wanted to make.
From 10 units/day to 2500 units/day, it wasn’t easy.
But it was one of the most important things we’ve ever done.
