When I started as CEO at Honeywell in June 2023, one of my primary goals was to simplify our portfolio. Today, we are taking a big step: separating our Aerospace business. Along with our planned spin-off of Advanced Materials, this move will create three strong, industry-leading companies, each poised for success from day one.

This is the result of a year-long, comprehensive portfolio evaluation that I initiated and our Board has been working through, and I’m incredibly proud of all we have done to make this a reality. We have the best team in the industry, and the benefits we anticipate for our customers, our talented #Futureshapers and our shareholders will only strengthen the powerful foundation Honeywell has built over decades of leadership. The future is truly what we make it, and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead.

A compelling day in Washington, DC, at Honeywell’s annual Advanced Air Mobility Summit. We convened 250 business leaders, policymakers and industry experts around a single purpose: Accelerating the path to reality for #AAM. 
 
We discussed many use cases – from autonomous cargo delivery in difficult environments to emergency services to point-to-point commutes, as well as the critical need for regulation and societal adoption.
 
AAM covers all three megatrends around which we’ve aligned Honeywell: Automation – which is essential to the aircraft; the future of aviation – obviously; and the energy transition because the aircraft will be electrified. I am inspired by the ideas, innovation and energy this group generated today, all of which will be pivotal to creating a new era of mobility. The future is what we make it.
