How I improved my workspace for a work-from-home setup. (UI UX Designer)

If you're working remotely, your workspace is just as important as the work you do. But it can seem like a daunting task to create a space that's both functional and aesthetically pleasing. If you're new to working remotely, or even if you've been at it for a while, here are a few tips I've learned over time that have helped me improve my workspace:

1. First of all, arrange your desk near a window. Fresh air and natural light will instantly improve your mood!

2. If you work on a monitor (like I do), use a monitor stand to raise the height of the monitor. (I'm using an Ikea Elloven monitor stand)

3. I like to use an aroma diffuser to make my workspace smell good and elevate my mood.

4. Keep all of your frequently-used items within reach. (This means keeping cables/hard drives/pencils/notepads within arm's reach)

5. Keep a water bottle beside you and you'll notice that your water intake has increased.

6. Use a comfortable chair. (This is a must)

--Bonus Points--
I feel, a clean & beautiful workspace creates a vibe.
To make the workspace aesthetically pleasing, I follow these tips:

1. Try to follow a colour theme, I use white, green and brown.

2. Use paintings/photos to make the wall look more interesting.

3. keep indoor plants near your desk, they enhance the overall look. (Snake plants look so aesthetic and they require little to no maintenance).

4. Use a desk mat.

5. Keep reed diffuser sticks/books.

6. A table lamp (which can be clamped to the corner of the table)
