+90% of cold emails that worked in 2022 look outdated in 2023

Here's the 5-step guide I used to upgrade my old cold emails, so they actually work in 2023 (steal this process)

Don't start your DM with: “Hope this message finds you well”

It has never found anyone well. Try this instead:

1. Relevant + Good Timing + Personalised
• 2-3 sentences max. Make it look like a text, not an email.
• Let your “why” stand out in the 1st line of a DM.

2. Value + Social Proof
• Show the Status QUO is not desirable by focusing on Cost of Inaction
• Infuse social proof = build trust faster

3. End strongly
• End with ONE clear call-to-action.
• Be super specific about what you’re asking for

Use this formula to get a response:

Name - , . + . .

Some good openers examples:

• Artur - your CEO mentioned on a pod...
• Matt - saw in your ...
• Yurii - despite 293k visits in May...

Why be generic when you can stand out?

Ps. I`m Yurii and I`m building an outbound sales system that actually works. For those DONE with wasted effort or think “outbound is not for us“. Want to hear more about it: DM me “SYSTEM“

Why so serious?… Never start your email with: “Hope this email finds you well”

Such emails never found anyone well. 3 ideas for a better cold email opener:

• Yurii - your CEO mentioned on a pod that pipeline optimization...
• Matt - in your I noticed that in Q3 the goal is…
• Artur - despite 293k visits in September, Woodpecker had only…

+80% of cold emails get ghosted because of a poor email preview.

Don't waste email's most important piece of real estate - the 1st line.

Get straight to the point = build trust = start more conversations = win more

Why be generic when you can stand out?

PS. Want to write cold emails that actually book meetings in 2024? I'll be starting a Cold Email Cohort soon. If you want to join it - DM me “COLD“.

“Email me in 3 month” actually means “get lost”

How I handle 15 most common sales objections:

Every objection is an opportunity for discovery - peel the onion.

“Email me in 3 months"
- What will happen in 3 months?

"I'm not interested"
- Before I leave - Is a priority at all right now? if not, what is?

“Too expensive”
- sounds like you're comparing this to what you already have or just the value isn't there for you. Which one is it?

Don't fight the objection, get to the real why.

That's the art of verbal judo.

How do you handle objections?
