1. Microsoft Development Center (IDC) is commemorating a quarter-century of groundbreaking research, engineering, and development that has played a pivotal role in shaping world-class products, including Copilots and other AI applications.
2. Microsoft was established in Hyderabad in August 1998 and then CM Chandrababu Naidu sir influenced this decision with a short meet with Bill Gates on his vision that he had for Hyderabad
3. Starting with a few employees at Cyber Towers, it has now expanded to 20k+ employees with offices in Bangalore, Delhi, Noida, Mumbai making India the biggest center outside the US headquarters.
4. Witnessing remarkable growth, Microsoft's market cap surged from $207 Billion in 1998 to an astounding $2.74 trillion USD, and IDC played an important role.
5. What makes me happiest, based on first-hand experience, is the exceptional workplace culture and the people I get to work with. This culture not only helps us innovate but also enables us to create a global impact from India. I am fortunate to be a part of this incredible journey!
