2025 is off to an exciting start careerwise as I take on a new role as Chief Sustainability Officer at Mars, Incorporated in February.
Average global temperatures exceeded 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels for the first time in 2024, and the impacts to planet and people are being seen and lived in many parts of the world. Mars has decoupled emissions from business growth and it is imperative that we continue to perform on our promises and in doing so prove that sustainability is good for business.
I’ll be working with our dedicated teams across Mars to continue to drive impactful initiatives that not only benefit our business but also contribute positively to the planet and society. I look forward to working closely with our partners, Associates, and stakeholders to ensure we continue to grow responsibly - thank you to those of you that have partnered with us on the journey already.
