I've sent over 10,000 cold emails.
Making this one change helped me 2x my reply rate.
Most salespeople are familiar with the “Call To Action.“
Often at the end of an email and sounds something like:
“Can I get 15 minutes on your calendar?“
“When's a good time to show you a demo?“
Unfortunately this doesn't work anymore.
Gone are the days when asking for people's time is effective.
Instead of asking for time.
Ask for interest.
For example:
“Imagine if you could walk into a room with ______ with a plan to ______ that will deliver______ . Would that be interesting?“
For a product like Spendesk this may look like:
“If you could walk into a room with your CFO, Sandy, with a plan to shorten month-end by 3 days and control card spend before it happens, would that be interesting?
💌
This works because:
🔘 You pitch a transformation, not a meeting
🔘 You ask for interest, not their time
