The moment I realized the power of LinkedIn was when my simple and authentic post went viral.

I was shocked. I had over 100,000 views on a post. I did not intend for the post to get any attention or views.

I posted a picture of myself and made a brief post about being a professional woman in recovery from substance use disorder and mental illness.

The amount of support and people relating to me was mind-blowing! I knew I needed to reach more people. I knew that I needed to post more about my past and help remove the stigma.

Be authentic! Be you! That’s more vital than any post.

Today I am a proud sober woman.
