1st Day of the Action for Restoring Envrionment (ARE) Conference and Awards went really well. #AREConference

The highlight of the day was personal note from Honourable PM of India for ARE Conference. He mentioned that how ARE conference is more than other conferences where we are deliberating on RESTORING environment and how the efforts of Energy Swaraj Foundation is alighted with LIFE (Lifestyle for Environment) mission of Prime Minister. Leaving for United Nations (UN) UNCTAD conference in Geneva

Looking forward to share the model of #EnergySwaraj for sustainable development.

It is not only important to move away from ‘wrong’ energy to ‘right’ energy, but it is even important to use the ‘right’ energy in a ‘right way’, the Energy Swaraj way.

The Energy Swaraj Model focuses on doing sustainable development in the RIGHT way by not ‘maximizing generation’ but by ‘minimizing consumption’, and more importantly, generating it locally.

My Energy Swaraj Yatra of the last 1000+ days has helped me to shape this model better. I feel now it is ready to be adopted by countries all over the world.

Back to my bus (my home) after hectic trip to #Delhi

I had marathon meetings. I had 15 meetings in three days in Delhi with top officials in the education sector for promoting Energy Literacy Training. It meant that I had to miss a proper lunch on all three days.

I had meetings with top officials of: 
-Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog
- Ministry of Education (MoE)
-All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
-Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE)
-University Grant Commision (UGC)
-Kendriya Vidyalay Sangathan (KVS)
-Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE)
-Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC)
-Mission LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment)
-Department of Public Enterprises (DPE)
-Beauro of Energy Efficiency (BEE)

Thanks to all officials for giving me time and discussing the possibility of #EnergyLiteracy Training to the masses. I feel lucky to get so much support in this #EnergySwaraj Mission.
