Yesterday, I had the pleasure of joining a PMO roundtable here in Seoul, South Korea 🇰🇷, with PMO leaders from companies such as HP, Hyundai, Porsche, LG Chem, and AXA.
Together, we explored the value-oriented mindset behind the PMI PMO Practice Guide, and discussed the shifts that are redefining the role of PMO professionals. Among them, the growing relevance of PMI-PMOCP as part of a broader effort to prepare PMO professionals not just to manage structures, but to lead transformation in alignment with Enterprise Agility as a strategic organizational capability.
What I appreciated most was the chance to better understand how these conversations are unfolding here in Korea. Different contexts create different challenges, but the direction is clear. PMOs that want to remain relevant need to become more intentional, more value-centered, and more strategically connected to the business.
