While scrolling through LinkedIn today, I came across a post by an employee at CRED.
He was praising about the help, CRED gave him when his mother was hospitalized.
It was appreciable, but the thing which surprised me was the comment by Founder of CRED Mr. Kunal Shah , which you can see below
I think, if every CEO starts behaving like this, instead treating his employees like paid labourers, it will benefit both the company and the employees.

Work culture affects the most, especially in growing start-ups, we must take this into account.

I got 69 offers from companies around the globe.๐ŸŒŽ

I am just 19, My net worth is more than IRCTC and Tata Power stocks ๐Ÿ’น (combined).๐Ÿค‘

I have never done DSA, CP, Open Source or even went to college.๐Ÿ˜Ž

I studied at home and managed to sleep so that I can see this dream, until my mom woke me up โ˜น๏ธ.

And then I had to make a presentation for college tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜ถ.

#no_hate
#kam_unity ya #community ?
Not only for Placements, this is true for everything you want to do in life.๐Ÿ’ฏ

This line is just ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Btw why researched content is not coming ? ๐Ÿ˜‚

I am compiling a book of 25 business models of 25 different startups.

So, I am pretty engaged with that ๐Ÿ˜… it would be a short ebook of 50-60 pages.

and it would be completely FREE ๐Ÿ™‚

Jhukti hai duniya, jhukane wala chahiye โค๏ธ

Physics wallah sir proved it โค๏ธ
College tiers doesn't matter.
Your qualifications doesn't matter.
Your financial status doesn't matter.

What matters is your mindset. ๐Ÿ’ฏ

I have been noticing his journey from 4 years and I am really happy that today, my whole feed was covered with posts related to him.๐Ÿ™Œ

But my question is, why we recognise hustlers only when they achieve something ? ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

why we don't support them in their bad phases ? ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

why we don't try to find the talent which is getting wasted in remote areas of India ? ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

The best thing about self-made people is, they work under the dark and their success outshines everything. ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Congratulations Alakh Pandey sir โค๏ธ

Would love to work with your organisation someday ๐Ÿ™Œ

Company related with Innovation -Apple

Company related with Simplicity- Microsoft

Company related with our curiosity- Google

Company related with chilling - Netflix

Company related with connecting - Facebook

Company related with Professionals- LinkedIn

Company related with buying and selling Products - Amazon

Company related with digital Payments- PayPal

Company related with EVs - Tesla

Company related with cab rides - Uber

You noticed one thing ?

No one built same product from other countries and named it USA's national product.

Why India is so focused on building their own Twitter, own WhatsApp or own Google Maps ?

Build a product for international market, I know India have a large population but they will not leave existing platforms.

CRED is something I am really Keen about. USA posses very high credit card usage and CRED has the potential to capitalise that ๐Ÿ‘€.

I have really interesting perks for my interns ๐Ÿ˜… well sharing few of them :

1) Stipends (obviously ๐Ÿ˜‚ unpaid internships are nothing less than a sin)

2) I buy them a Udemy course of their choice every month. Doesn't matter if it is related to their domain or not.๐Ÿ˜„

3) We work by number of tasks not by number of hours.๐Ÿ•œ
I don't care if they complete their task in 2 hours with quality.๐Ÿ˜…

4) Every Sunday I just take criticism from them.๐Ÿ˜…
They have to write atleast one point, which can make things better at the workplace.๐Ÿ˜„

Though I never boast about this, but I feel really happy to work with such motivated folks.๐Ÿ™Œโค๏ธ

Edit : It's great that some people want to work with us, but right now I don't have enough bandwidth to hire everyone ๐Ÿ˜…

๐Ÿ“Only 960 IIT Graduates get more than 50 lakh CTC at IITs.

๐Ÿ“54% students in top tier IITs (7,020) recieve job offers with salary packages in the range of Rs.10 to 16 lakh per annum.

๐Ÿ“11% students in top tier IITs (1,430) get more than Rs.16 lakh per annum

Btw these are CTCs, we are not even talking about base salary yet.

โ€œIIT nhi hua to kuch nahiโ€œโŒ

During 12th, everyone brainwashed us into believing this and what happened later ? ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Nothing much.๐Ÿ˜‚

Nobody told you enough about, NITs, IIITs, BITS, VIT, GATE, CAT, UPSC, Foreign Universities, IPMAT, GMAT etc.

I sincerely don't want to demean any institution but it's high time we check the backstage of shows conducted by media with the name of IITs.๐Ÿ’ก

Branches like Material Science, Biotechnology, Ceramic engineering, production engineering etc suffer the most and good portion of batch suffer unemployment too.๐Ÿ‘ฅ

On the other hand, many people from non-IIT colleges are working at better firm at more compensation because of their โ€œSkillsโ€œ.๐Ÿ™Œ

We'll see the tier system getting abolished soon enough. ๐Ÿ™Œ

$17 million dollars flushed down ๐Ÿšฝ

Backed by Lightspeed and celebs like Deepika Padukone & Raftaar, this startup had to shut down its operations today.๐Ÿฅฒ

Frontrow offered non-academic courses like Singing, Rapping, storytelling, cricket, dance etc. ๐ŸŽถ

It was definitely a nice idea and got great support from prominent cricketeres like Suresh Raina, and singers like Neha Kakkar. ๐Ÿ

But unfortunately, since last year due to crunch of fresh funding and sales led growth, Frontrow was unable to make ends meet. ๐Ÿ’ต

Sad day for edtech, and is it just the start of downfall ? ๐Ÿ“‰

Flipkart Grid 5.0 Applicants was 4.7 Lakhs

Which is more than 2x of the people taking CAT

Instead of being happy we are not realising what are we approaching.

The condition of Supply more than Demand. ๐Ÿ“‰

Flipkart Grid selects around 200 students for the final round. Then later rejects majority of them for final offer

Let me do the math for you,
Selection ratio is less than 0.04%

Flipkart Grid is just a small example of growing number of software engineers in India.๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ

Why am I calling it bad ?

In USA around, 70,000 engineers graduate every year

In Canada, 60,000 engineers graduate every year

In Australia, around 30,000 engineers graduate each year

In India, the number is 3 times all of the above countries โ€œcombinedโ€

Companies are on a path to go lean and hire less people in future, whereas we can find engineers in India growing at a rapid rate.

In 2019,
80% of the engineers were unemployed in India.

Past 5 years have given much awareness to people in this mysterious world of Tech and unfortunately it has increased the competition :(

Opportunities are not increasing at the same rate as of engineers โŒ

this is scary.

Swiggy and Zomato never competed with eat outlets, but increased their customer base. ๐Ÿจ

CRED is not giving credit cards, but it is helping them by easing out the process for user.๐Ÿ’ณ

Ola & Uber never started their own cabs, they started a service and cab drivers joined willingly by looking at greater pay.๐Ÿš–

OYO helped people to book hotels which were never in the top list of travel brochures. Which was beneficial for hotel owners as well.๐Ÿจ

Amazon & Flipkart helped retailers to sell their services across nation.๐Ÿ›๏ธ

Urban Company is helping plumbers, technicians and many other workers who were struggling to get a client.๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ”ง

Facebook legitimately connected you with the world, many social networking sites came but not many survived.๐Ÿ‘ฅ

WhatsApp eased out the conversation with people. Moreover, elderly people found it easy to use ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Grofers & BigBasket helped near ration shops to sell their products on larger scale. ๐Ÿ›’

Sometimes it's about collaboration not about competition.

Value addition is a must if you are building something.
I also add value through my hashtag ๐Ÿ‘‡ #DecodeStartupsWithAniket

Here is an observation I made that I would like to share with you. โœจ

Take 2 parties. One is a sports team that represents the nation in international tournaments and the other is a homegrown company that operates globally. ๐ŸŒŽ

When either of them fails to perform, we question them, ridicule them and sometimes even vilify them. Although this is an unfortunate practice, but I understand the emotions behind it and as long as it is done with respect, I will allow it. ๐Ÿ’ฏ

But when they perform and bring accolades for their country and community, only one of them is revered, garlanded, celebrated, idolised, and rewarded. ๐Ÿ™Œ

In this metaphor, the former is every sports team/person in the country and the latter is BYJU'S

The entire social media was out for blood with pitchforks to slander BYJUโ€™S. Seems like everyone had a point of view and everyone wanted answers. Well today, BYJUโ€™S gave it.

After recent Deloitte clean, unqualified audit report we should remember everything we did and channel that same energy into celebrating what BYJUโ€™S has done! ๐Ÿ‘

We should be rejoicing that an Indian company

๐Ÿ“Clocked revenues of $1.2 billion
๐Ÿ“Is valued at over $23 billion
๐Ÿ“Employs over 20,000 teachers and over 50,000 other workers
๐Ÿ“Provides free education to over 3.4 million poor children in India
๐Ÿ“Sponsors the national Cricket Teams (both Men and Women)
๐Ÿ“Sponsors the biggest sporting event - FIFA World Cup
๐Ÿ“Sponsors of Indian Olympians like Neeraj Chopra and PV Sindhu

This encouragement is not only for #BYJUโ€™S but for every entrepreneur out there trying to figure out their path and contribute to their nationโ€™s growth.

I donโ€™t know about everyone, but I will always be your cheerleader, if you are taking our name across globe ๐Ÿ™Œ

I bunked classes

I failed an exam

I bunked coaching classes

I had a breakup

I hanged out with druggies

I did night outs

I had defaulter friends

I was charged twice for violence

I had numerous challans

I lied to my parents

I was rude to my teachers

I did all this in just couple of years and was on the verge to destroy my career forever.

But...

My chemistry teacher just said one sentence to me, which changed everything..

โ€œWhere are you going exactly?โ€œ ๐Ÿ™‚

I was just in a deep thought, continuously thinking about this.

Then started feeling guilty for everything I had already done.
But my parents, teachers, friends, everyone accepted me with an open heart and gave me a chance to improve.

Sometimes, you just need 1 person to change your life forever. I owe this to my chemistry teacher!

I don't regret exploring all this stuff, because I am not curious about this โ€œother side anymore. ๐Ÿ™‚

PS: I have a very dark past, I can make a series out of it ๐Ÿ˜‚ but naah! let's move forward ๐Ÿ˜…
