All my college internships and even my first full-time job at Microsoft were all remote. However, my recent experience of working from the office at Google has made me realize the real perks of working in person.

𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐜 𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 🔄 - Firstly, doubts get resolved in minutes when you're in the office. Unlike remote work where you have to wait for a sync-up or reply, you can walk up to your co-worker and get the issues resolved.

Face-to-face communication also helps you to get a grasp of things better and it's easier to understand things from whiteboard explanations than from PPTs.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 🖥️ - A calm, composed environment at the office also helps to manage and increase your productivity.

𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 👥 - You get to meet new people and people from other teams in office cafes and learn about the work their team is doing, which gives you a broader perspective.

Lastly, going to the office also helps you to get disciplined and organized. It's not just about playing games and free food, the above points are the real perks of working from the office.
